Shironuri is a Japanese subculture that can be found on the streets of Japan. “Shironuri ” literally means “painted in white”. It refers to the white traditional makeup worn by Geisha and stage actors. The style was made popular by street fashion artist Minori, who was interviewed by Tokyo Fashion in the video below about her creations.
