Van Jones, Special Advisor for Green Jobs, the White House Council on Environmental Quality. February 11, 2009, Berkeley, CA. From a lecture Jones gave at the 2nd Annual Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) event.

Remember, this is a White House OFFICIAL with power over the entire multi-billion dollar “Green Jobs” initiative. This is the same man who endorsed the statement that President Bush “gave troops permission to go down (to New Orleans) and shoot us (black people)” after Katrina. He is now at the highest levels of power, and is targeting Glenn Beck for exposing his true agenda.

A cannibal was walking through the jungle and came upon a restaurant operated by a fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and looked over the menu…

+ Broiled Missionary: $10.00
+ Fried Explorer: $15.00
+ Grilled Republican : $20.00
+ Baked DEMOCRAT: $100.00

The cannibal called the waiter over and asked, ‘Why such a price difference for the Democrat?’

The cook replied, “Have you ever tried to clean one? They’re so full of shit, it takes all morning.”

Mary Matalin: Sarah Palin is “Really Brilliant” for Resigning

Mary Matalin gets it!

MATALIN: Well, I think it’s really brilliant, with two caveats, one being that there’s nothing else, ala the Sanford fiasco. There’s nothing else that we don’t know. If all that’s there is what we see right now, it’s brilliant.

And, secondly, that she has a plan and people have a plan to put up with the conventional wisdom, chatterati and the political class saying how stupid it is, because it’s brilliant.

On the substance, there’s the key economic issue — I know everyone says — thinks it’s health care, but it’s really energy. And she’s the queen of energy.

And the second big issue for 2012 will be the role of government. And she has a record of reform and ethics reform and making government smaller and reigning in spending — all those issues that are getting increasingly important as Barack Obama expands on his agenda.

So — and her delivery was incredible — a charis — a less charismatic person probably couldn’t pull it off. But as — as already referenced, she will be freed up and liberated in the way Mitt Romney is here to run around and raise money and get political chips by spending it and get political capital. And she is still raising the kinds of crowds and money that she always did.

Democrats Refuse to Stand for the Pledge of Allegiance

“Judge them by their actions, not by their words.” Not standing for the Pledge of Allegiance validates that old saying. Does anyone need more proof that they hold our country in contempt, they hold freedom in contempt and they hold us in contempt! They are nothing more than Socialists and enemies to this country … and the worst part is they are in power.

Video of NYS Senate Democrats sitting defiantly through the Pledge of Allegiance in protest after losing political control of the Chamber to Republicans.

Only one courageous Senator tried to stand to honor the flag, but he was immediately pulled down into his seat by fellow Democrats.

The video is from WCBS-2 TV on 6/23/09, taped during a “special session” of the Senate called by Democrat Gov. David Paterson in an effort to end a three-week walkout by Democrats that has brought government to a screeching halt.

Grim-faced Democrats refused to acknowledge even their presence in the Chamber, failing to answer when their names were called, or join in a silent prayer that traditionally begins each session.

The first Senator pictured seated is Antoine Thompson of Buffalo. The Senator attempting to stand is Martin Dilan of Brooklyn, and he looks clearly uncomfortable when he is pulled down by Kevin Parker of Brooklyn and Ruth Hassell-Thompson of Westchester.
