Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a palm tree when one turns to the other and says… “Slim, I’m 83 years old now and I’m just full of aches and pains. I know you’re about my age, how do you feel?”
Slim says, “I feel just like a new-born baby.” “Really!? Like a new-born baby!?” “Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.”

An older couple is lying in bed one morning, having just awakened from a good night’s sleep. He takes her hand and she responds, “Don’t touch me.”
“Why not?” he asks. She answers back, “Because I’m dead.” The husband says, “What are you talking about? We’re both lying here in bed together and talking to one another.” She says, “No, I’m definitely dead.” He insists, “You’re not dead. What in the world makes you think you’re dead?” “Because I woke up this morning and nothing hurts.” |

There’s no denying the simple joys of friendship. But being able to call someone your best friend is truly special. It makes it all the more special when your best friend is close in age and you can both reminisce together.
Meet Harvey and Eddie. These two best friends are in their mid-80s, but you’d never guess it by their young flair and perfectly timed comedic genius.
In this hilarious clip, they get interviewed on current pop culture and asked questions about topics they’ve never heard about.
One of my favorite moments is when they’re asked about Facebook, and Harvey picks up the phone. Eddie continues to answer, saying that he prefers letter writing and that he still writes to his grandchildren.
Another great moment of this video, my second favorite instance, is when they listen to different kinds of new music and give their feedback. Although they weren’t big fans of the rap music that was played, the vote was split when Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” played.
It’s truly beautiful to see these two gentlemen get such a kick out of one another, and that they are so willing to partake in an interview.
This pair is truly unique in that they’re effortlessly themselves, and taking life one step at a time.
