This pretty much sums it up. The state of our union.
Fight For Al Qaeda
Members of the U.S. military didn’t join so they fight caught alongside Al Qaeda in Syria’s civil war. Anonymous military members sent The Angel Clark Show pictures of them (with sunglasses) holding pieces of paper expressing their displeasure with fighting along with Al Qaeda in Syria’s Civil War. Military members are prohibited from making political statements, which is why these two want to remain anonymous.
A U. S. Navy destroyer stops four Mexicans in a row boat rowing towards California.
The Captain gets on the loud-hailer and shouts,
“Ahoy, small craft. Where are you headed?”
One of the Mexicans puts down his oar, stands up, and shouts,
“We are invading the United States of America ! to reclaim the territory taken by the USA during the 1800’s.”
The entire crew of the destroyer doubled-over in laughter.
When the Captain is finally able to catch his breath, he gets back on the loud-hailer and asks, “Just the four of you?”
The same Mexican stands up again and shouts, “No, we’re the last four. The rest are already there!”
One reason the Military Services have trouble operating jointly is that they don’t speak the same language.
For example, if you told Navy personnel to “secure a building,” they would turn off the lights and lock the doors.
The Army would occupy the building so no one could enter.
Marines would assault the building, capture it, and defend it with suppressive fire and close combat.
The Air Force, on the other hand, would take out a three-year lease with an option to buy.
On some air bases the Air Force is on one side of the field and civilian aircraft use the other side of the field, with the control tower in the middle. One day the tower received a call from an aircraft asking, “What time is it?”
The tower responded, “Who is calling?”
The aircraft replied, “What difference does it make?”
The tower replied “It makes a lot of difference. If it is an American Airlines Flight, it is 3 o’clock. If it is an Air Force, it is 1500 hours. If it is a Navy aircraft, it is 6 bells. If it is an Army aircraft, the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3. If it is a Marine Corps aircraft, it’s Thursday afternoon.”
