How big is your dog? 70 pounds is pretty big. 100 is too. But what if we told you there’s a pit bull that weighs more than both of those? It’s true and, thankfully, there’s an amazing YouTube video to prove it.
On average, the American Pit Bull weighs between 25 and 35 pounds. The American bulldog weighs between 60 and 120 pounds. Put em together and you get this hefty fella: The Hulk.
The 17-month-old pup weighs 173 pounds! The video above was uploaded to YouTube by canine breeder DARKDYNASTYK9S earlier this month and has over 2 million video views around the world.
In the video, the dog can be seen towering over his owner, happily sitting on the scale, and playing with humans.
Judging by the video, it doesn’t appear is weight is due to being overfed or snacking on table scraps. He appears to be in good health and just an overall (very) large dog.
It’s important to note the dog featured in the video is described as a bully pit bull which is a breed between the American bulldog and pit bull.
