They’ll never give up power willingly. Career politicians become the very thing they swore to fight—entrenched, self-serving, out of touch. Term limits are the reset button.
I had a History professor whose hobby was famous proverbs. Since he had a know-it-all attitude, I decided to challenge him one day. I made a little wager that he couldn’t decipher my proverbs. I fooled him by using synonyms.
Can you figure out the often used proverbs that my professor couldn’t?
1. Greater delayed than not ever.
2. Don’t dillydally till nevermore what you can do in present.
3. Disuse not, crave not.
4. Act unto another as you wish them transact to you.
A career politician is someone who traded their soul for a seat at the table a long, long time ago.
Their only job now is to convince you they still have one. Don’t listen to what they say. Watch what they do and who they meet with when they think you’re not looking.

I live above a star, and yet I never burn,
