Jesus Statue In Mexico Moves Its Head

Statue of Jesus Christ moves his head during mass in front of followers.

In front of the incredulous gaze of the church’s father, as well as dozens of faithful followers, a statue of Jesus Christ shakes his head. The incredible and shocking fact was recorded in video through the camera of a mobile phone.

Parishioners at a church in Mexico were left awestruck when they saw a statue of Jesus seemingly move its head during a Good Friday mass.

An attendee at the service, which took place in the town of Tepetitlan, captured the eerie event on video via their cell phone.

In the footage, the statue’s head can be seen slightly swaying to the side in a motion that left onlookers stunned.

Many of the churchgoers concluded that the incident was some kind of miraculous occurrence, however the priest presiding over the service begs to differ.

According to Fr. Guerra Lule, the head of the 300-year-old statue is detachable and only used during special services, requiring it to be held atop the figure using velvet ropes.

As such, he suggested, the head likely became dislodged from the statue as one of the ropes broke.

Nonetheless, Lule appreciated the remarkable timing of the event and mused that it was “beautiful.”

Indeed, despite the priest’s explanation, one can’t help but wonder if there was more than mere coincidence at work when the statue suddenly stirred.

A 1950s TV Show Had A Character Named Trump Who Promised To Save The World By Building A Wall

An episode of the 1950s western TV series ‘Trackdown’ featured a character named Walter Trump who claimed he would build a wall in order to protect a town from the end of the world.

1950s TV Show Had Character Named Trump Who Promised To Save The World By Building A Wall

Nearly 60 years ago, an episode of a TV showed called “Trackdown” told the story of a man named Trump who warns people that the world will be destroyed and that only he can save them… by building a wall.

Check out the video below to see the bizarre coincidence for yourself:

Decades before The Simpsons predicted a President Trump, an obscure CBS Western from the 1950s called Trackdown featured a man who claimed he could prevent the end of the world by building a wall. The man’s name was Walter Trump, and he shares a number of similarities with the president-elect.

As pointed out by Snopes, in the episode “The End of the World,” which aired on May 8, 1958, the mysterious Trump was a confidence man, decked out in a cultish robe, who arrived in the town of Talpa and, “tells the townspeople that a cosmic explosion will rain fire on the town and that he is the only one that can save them from death.” The wall he wanted to build was designed to keep out certain doom, of course, but his mere presence arouses suspicion from some of the locals.

Trump’s plan never comes to fruition, and he’s eventually brought to justice by the show’s hero, Texas Ranger Hoby Gilman, for grand theft and fraud. YouTube user Marcy Brafman uploaded portions of the episode on November 4, 2016, just four days before the presidential election.

Homeland Security Shuts Down Aerial Surveillance On Mexican Border

Aerial Surveillance Mexican Border
DARKENED OPS: A Texas-based UH-72 helicopter assigned to Operation Phalanx prepares to lift off for the Mexican border.

In what appears to be an effort to allow unchecked border crossing in the final two month of his presidency, Obama’s DHS has shut down the a critical Border aerial surveillance program despite the fact that the program was fully funded for Fiscal Year 2017 by Congress.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott went the extra mile to post on twitter: “Obama is doing everything he can to open the border. January 20 can’t come soon enough.”

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security quietly shut down Operation Phalanx, an aerial surveillance program that intercepts drugs and illegal crossings along the Mexican border.

Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, vows to challenge DHS’s move, saying Congress provided “full funding” for 2017.

Cuellar, a member of the House Appropriations Committee and the Homeland Security Subcommittee, is drafting a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson protesting the shutdown.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Cuellar challenged Johnson last February when DHS reduced Phalanx’s flight operations.

This time, Cuellar is seeking reinforcements from Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Reps. Mike McCaul, R-San Antonio, and John Carter, R-Round Rock.

Cornyn sits on the Senate Judiciary Subcommittees on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security and the Terrorism, Technology and Homeland Security panel. McCaul chairs the Homeland Security Committee in the House and Carter chairs the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee.

Abbott’s office declined to comment; Cornyn and Carter did not respond to requests for comment.
