Democrats do as they are told. They do it together and in unison. It matters not what opinion they hold today. If tomorrow they are given instructions to say or do the exact opposite, they obey as one without flinching or any fear of contradiction. They adhere to situational ethics, doing or saying anything as required at any specific moment in time.
