I had a History professor whose hobby was famous proverbs. Since he had a know-it-all attitude, I decided to challenge him one day. I made a little wager that he couldn’t decipher my proverbs. I fooled him by using synonyms.

Can you figure out the often used proverbs that my professor couldn’t?

1. Greater delayed than not ever.

2. Don’t dillydally till nevermore what you can do in present.

3. Disuse not, crave not.

4. Act unto another as you wish them transact to you.
