A doctor had an argument with his wife over breakfast and his parting shots before going to the surgery was “and you’re no good in bed.”
After an hour or so at work, he thought he had better call her to apologize, but could get no reply. When he arrived home, he asked her where she’d been, as he couldn’t contact her. She replied, “I was in bed getting a second opinion.”
