Look Alike Of The Day: Nikolai Yezhov And Obama

Nikolai Ivanovich Yezhov (May 1, 1895 – February 4, 1940) was a senior figure in the NKVD (the Soviet secret police) during the period of the Great Purge. His reign is sometimes known as the “Yezhovschina”.

Physically, Yezhov was very short in stature (only five foot, or 151 cm) – and that, combined with his sadistic personality led to his nickname ‘The Poisoned Dwarf’ or ‘The Bloody Dwarf’.

Yezhov was known as a determined loyalist of Joseph Stalin, and in 1935 he wrote a paper in which he argued that political opposition must eventually lead to violence and terrorism; this became in part the ideological basis of the purges. He became People’s Commissar for Internal Affairs (head of the NKVD) and a member of the Presidium Central Executive Committee on September 26, 1936.

Under Yezhov, the purges reached their height, with roughly half of the Soviet political and military establishment being imprisoned or shot, along with hundreds of thousands of others, suspected of disloyalty or “wrecking”.

The other day, I needed to go to the emergency room.

Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on a pair of old Army fatigues and stuck a patch onto the front of my shirt that I had downloaded off the Internet.

When I went into the E.R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren’t that sick after all. Cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time.

Here’s the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you’re in need of quicker emergency service.

It also works at DMV and the Laundromat.

Don’t try it at McDonald’s, the whole crew will exit and you’ll never get your order.

Barack Obama went out the front door of the White House to pick up the morning paper and he noticed someone had written “Obama you are a Loser” in pee in the snow. He was furious stormed inside and rang the chief of the FBI and demanded to know who was responsible.

The FBI sent over a team of experts to do every possible test on the message. At 4pm that afternoon the chief went to the White House to brief the President. Well what is it asked the president . “I have some bad news and some very bad news Mr President” said the chief.

“Whats the bad news?” asked the president.

“Sir the bad news is the DNA test revealed the urine was Joe Biden’s.”

“WHAT!” shout the president “after all the support I have given him.”

“Thats not all sir ” said the chief “there is even worse news.”

“What is it asked the president?”

It’s Michelle’s hand writing!”
