  • The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that’s 80 million)
  • The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
  • The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, ‘Guns don’t kill people, doctors do.’

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand. Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

The old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years He had faithfully served the people of the nation’s capital.

He motioned for his nurse to come near..

“Yes, Father?” said the nurse.

“I would really like to see Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi before I die”, whispered the priest.

“I’ll see what I can do, Father” replied the nurse.

The nurse sent the request to them and waited for a response. Soon the word arrived. Harry and Nancy would be delighted to visit the priest. As they went to the hospital, Harry commented to Nancy “I don’t know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our images.” Nancy couldn’t help but agree.

When they arrived at the priest’s room, the priest took Nancy’s hand in his right hand and Harry’s hand in his left. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest’s face.

Finally Nancy spoke. “Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?”

The old priest slowly replied “I have always tried to pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” The old priest continued…”He died between two lying thieves. I would like to do the same.”

Obama receives that 3 a.m. phone call on Air Force One on April 8, 2009. First USA vessel overtaken by Somali Pirates in over 200 years. Obama’s response; declines comment, no response and no action. Compare this to President Ronald Reagan on October 7, 1985 and the Achille Lauro.
