This humorous video recalls a time when Obama’s biggest “scandal” was that everything he said was read was from a teleprompter.

Rush Limbaugh has a perfect explanation on why Obama uses a teleprompter.

If you know what you’re talking about you don’t need notes, even. Maybe just an outline to jog your memory, and then you go. But Obama, if you’ve noticed, he’s lost without that prompter. And I know why. I know why he’s always on the prompter. And that is to make sure he doesn’t slip up and portray what he really thinks and what his plans really are. It’s so Obama stays confined in the way that he has been marketed and presented, and he participates in that of course, and the way they manage, ’cause it’s all about the Limbaugh Theorem. It’s all about Obama appearing detached, unattached.

It’s all about Obama disguising what his real intentions are. With no prompter and no discipline, he might actually let it slip what his real plans are, and that would be devastating. The fact of the matter is that most liberals cannot be honest with you about what they really hope happens or what they really want to happen or what they really intend to do, because if that ever happens — and it has — they don’t win much. They’re resoundingly defeated, particularly in national elections. So that’s the primary reason for the prompter, is to keep Obama on message and disciplined so that he doesn’t wander off and give up the game.

Rush Limbaugh Explains Liberalism

Conservative talk show radio host Rush Limbaugh on Friday broke down “liberalism” in a detailed-yet-simplistic way for his listeners.

Limbaugh argued that “in a free country, people will not choose liberalism.”

“If they want to eat salt, they’ll eat it. If they want to eat trans fats, they’ll eat it. If they want to eat beef, they’ll eat it,” he explained. “The only way liberals can get you to live the way they want you to is to deny you freedom to do what you want to do. And they’re not happy with you living and thinking in ways other than the way they live and think. You must conform.”

The undisputed king of talk radio also claimed that “liberals cannot survive in an unrigged contest in the arena of ideas.” That’s because, according to Limbaugh, “they are not about ideas.”

“Liberals are not about choice; they are about imposition. The way they live, the way they believe, must be imposed on people, otherwise they won’t do it on their own,” he added. “It’s taken them 50, 60 years to get to this point of conditioning people, of taking hold of the education system, the university, academia system, the media. It’s taken a long time to condition people not to stand up for themselves, not to exercise freedom, not to speak outside the acceptable norms. What is political correctness but speech censorship, is all it is.”

Whether you agree or disagree with this soldier’s opinions, I think we can all agree that the apparent retribution he faced for proudly reading certain authors is outrageous.

I’d love to see more of America’s finest, our men and women in uniform, along with everybody else proudly and boldly reading more writings from patriots who pinpoint who is trying to kill our Constitution. Americans obviously need to know why it’s imperative we don’t roll over and succumb to these attempts to fundamentally transform America into a populace of sheep merely grazing, and then atrophying, under tyranny. This IS a battle between liberty and tyranny, as the title of Mark Levin’s book declares. The authors and commentators mentioned in the article linked below will help more of our loved ones understand this by articulately explaining what the radical Left’s leadership is doing to our country.

Yes, if more citizens would hear and read Rush, The Great One, et al., the empowerment of the average person would provide the energy and encouragement to take a stand and proclaim, “No more!” It’s time. Troops – especially you – have fought for the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution. Your brothers and sisters have died in this battle to defend liberty. Please know that a grateful nation won’t let your sacrifices be in vain. We have your back.

I’d love to see pictures of our troops reading any of these apparently “banned” pro-America books. Don’t show your face or name in the photo, perhaps just your liberty-loving hands around a liberty-loving book or hands on a radio dial tuning in to hear the aforementioned conservative leaders speak truth. What is the use in fighting and dying for freedom in far away countries if they take away freedom at home? Post a pic.

Dr. Benjamin Carson Offers The Antidote to Obamacare

I heard Dr Carson´s common sense, achievable plan for universal medical care on Rush´s show yesterday. You could literally describe it on the back of an envelope. Tell me why the geniuses we elect to a life of luxury in Congress cannot come up with a similar plan? I think it would be overwhelmingly approved by the American people. Instead, we have Obamacare shoved down our throats.

I’m sorry. I have one more observation, one more observation to make about Dr. Benjamin Carson. What is also refreshing is the man communicates in plain English and with simple rationality. In 43 seconds! Remember, Shakespeare: “Brevity is the soul of wit.” Brevity is how you make an impression. The fewer number of words you need to make a point, the more powerful the point. Forty-three seconds, and we got the antidote to Obamacare. Plain English, simple, rational — and, in addition to that, he illustrated how to confront and deal with Obama.

Now, contrast that to what’s going on in Washington. The Republicans are out there giving long speeches about how they want to help people and how they’re misunderstood. “We’re gonna reach out to this group and that group and we’re gonna rebrand! We have to a better job of explaining what our policies are all about, and we need to explain how we really like people.” We have seminars about abandoning principles. We have long discussions and treatises and people writing long columns on suggestions from the Republicans on how they need to moderate here and modify there and reach out over here and do this, that, there and so forth.

And a guy comes along in 43 seconds and sets out a position based on our principles of individual responsibility and free markets that is a logical solution that makes total sense to everybody who hears it. Now, they might have some questions. “Well, what do you mean about this health savings account? Where does it get the money? How can I spend it?” But they’re easily explained. Those questions have easy answers that are also understandable and rational.
