Poem Of The Day: Farts
A fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud
A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
Some farts have been known
To sound like a song……
A fart can create
A most curious medley,
A fart can be harmless,
Or silent but deadly.
A fart might not smell,
While others are vile,
A fart may pass quickly,
Or linger a while……
A fart can occur
In a number of places,
And leave everyone there,
With strange looks on their faces.
From wide-open prairie,
To small elevators,
A fart will find all of
Us sooner or later.
But farts are all bad,
Is simply not true-
We must not forget…….
Sweet old farts like me and you!
Twas The Night Before The Election
‘Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boysThey had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stinkHe then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!“On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi”
He screamed at the pairs!They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!So I leave you to think
On this one final note-

I do not like this Uncle Sam,
I do not like his health care scam. I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals. I do not like this speaker, Nan, I do not like this ‘YES WE CAN.’ I do not like this spending spree, I’m smart – I know that nothing’s free. I do not like your smug replies, when I complain about your lies. I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it, nope, nope, nope!
