Babies have an almost universally similar reaction to their first taste of a lemon. They are eager to try something new, they take a bite, and then it’s shock, puckering, frowning, astonishment at your betrayal of their trust, maybe a little spitting, and then after a moment, they want another bite!
Victor Poulin creates boomerangs of all shapes and sizes. In this video he demonstrates his new fully functional returning batarang boomerang.

Victor Poulin makes boomerangs in unusual forms, including the glaive from Krull, axes, dragons and cats. Unlike previous batarangs that we’ve featured before, this one actually returns to the thrower, just like Batman’s!
In the above video, Poulin shows off this prize of geek craftsmanship. It measures 25.25 inches across. Time and time again, he throws it and it returns to him.
It’s made of wood, so it wouldn’t be as effective as Batman’s own batarangs. But presumably this one could be modified with, say, razor blades.
Poulin has an extensive line of videos showing his boomerangs in action. I’m especially impressed with this one, which shows him playing basketball and starting fires with a boomerang.
These loafers were made by Josey, a baker in San Francisco. He makes a lot of special and unusual breads at his shop known as The Mill.
When life gives you lemons, make some frikkin lemon bars. or, when you’ve got a coupla day old big country loaves and it’s the day after Halloween, carve em out and make yourself a pair of honest to god LOAFERS.

Can being cold make you sick?
“You’ll catch your death of cold!” Grandma says when you show up with just a sweater on in the winter. So you once again explain to her that you aren’t allowed to wear a coat in class because of security rules and there’s no place to put one where it won’t be stolen. But does cold weather make you sick? No. And yes. AsapSCIENCE explains the nuts and bolts of winter weather and colds and flu.
Put another way, cold weather makes me sick. Sick at heart when I have to venture out to start the car early. And sick to my stomach when I think of the heating bills. And I think it might affect my arthritis a bit, too.

Unfortunately Goat Simulator is not a real game. This footage from Coffee Stain Studios is just something the developers whipped up during a recent game jam. They should sell it. The demand would be tremendous.
