Smelling like a man is more complicated than just working outside all day and basking in the aroma of your own sweat and booze. It means smelling like manly things. Things like the forest, black pepper, tobacco, leather, and gin — all scents you’ll find in Moonshine Cologne.
It used to be something nobody wanted to talk about, but these days a touch of Southern heritage has become almost fashionable.
Moonshine has a strong connection to Nascar and North Carolina, and now it’s part of a local success story.
Charlie Holderness along with his friends Matt Moore and Colin Newberry started Moonshine Cologne in his parent’s house in Greensboro where the three would set up their own bottling operation on weekends.
The first 500 bottles were supposed to last for months. It sold out in three weeks.
Meet Richie Parker. He likes to fix up old cars in his spare time and drives a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. He also works for NASCAR’s Hendrick Motorsports as an engineer. Oh, and did I forget to mention that he doesn’t have arms?
The word can’t isn’t part of his vocabulary!
Watch this amazing video and be inspired!
Born with no arms, what most people would consider to be a deterrent to living even a remotely normal life, Richie Parker wields an unstoppable spirit & tenacity, which allows him to surpass most people who were born with every advantage.
Whatever your limitation is in life, Richie proves with every fiber of his being that it’s all a matter of choice. You choose whether something is an ability or a disability, and no matter the hurdle, it’s up to you to roll over it or let it stop you.
Be Richie, every day of your lives!

Maybe NASCAR didn’t know what it was getting when it hired Pastor Joe Nelms of the Family Baptist Church to deliver the invocation before Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 300 Nationwide Series race in Nashville.
Then again, maybe it did. Pastor Nelms’ prayer gave thanks for, among other things, “GM Performance Technology,” “Sunoco Racing Fuel,” and, bizarrely, “my smokin’ hot wife Lisa.”
