Nissan GTR vs A Woman

Which is faster – a Nissan GTR or a Woman? :)

Nissan GTR vs A Woman
Now this is something really awesome. Jeremy formally from British Top Gear, had come up with this crazy and original idea to organize a `drag challenge` between the world`s fastest road car, Nissan Skyline GTR and one of the fastest female athletes in the world, the Australian 100 meters champion, Michelle Jenneke.

I`m sure that the great Nissan GTR does not need much of introduction, except the raw facts that it is equipped with an engine that generates 485 HP, has four wheel drive, has perfect launch control and is one of the fastest road cars in the world.

And its opponent is Michelle Jenneke. For those of you who don`t know much about sports, except cars, this athlete is Australian 100 meters hurdles women`s champion, who actually became famous for her warm up routine before each race – her dancing moves.

So, according to Jeremy, the most important question in Motorsport – which is faster? A Nissan GTR or a woman?

James May – Why Do Boomerangs Come Back?

James May answers the question “Why do boomerangs come back?”.

Discover the scientific principles of the Boomerang with James May in the latest Head Squeeze Q & A video.

Not limited just to Aborigines in Australia, Boomerangs have been found all over the world – even in the tombs of Ancient Egypt. Did early hunter gatherers really use these to take our their opponents at long distance, or were they better suited to small prey like birds?

Boomerangs work by harnessing both gyroscopic and aerodynamic forces, much like helicopters and they must be thrown at a very specific angle to function properly.

The world record for a boomerang flight is an incredible six minutes.
