With a gasoline or diesel engine car, the fossil fuel is burned under the hood, emitting greenhouse gases from the tailpipe. But with an electric car, the fossil fuels are burned far away where you can't see them, emitting greenhouse gases where you can't detect them, to power a battery that poisons the children who make them, so you can impress your friends.
