The New ‘Intelligent’ Rifle That Claims to Give You a Perfect Shot Every Time

A new Texas-based company is developing a shooting system that could turn even the least skilled marksmen into a sniper-quality shooter.

TrackingPoint calls its system the “world’s first precision guided firearm.”

President Jason Schauble explained in a YouTube demonstration of the technology that what the company did is “put jet fighter lock-and-launch technology into a firing system.”

The system uses a conventional gun and ammunition, but combines them with a Intelligent Digital Tracking Scope and a guided trigger. The technology doesn’t let you fire until the shot is spot on.

“You don’t have to be an experienced shooter,” Schauble said in the video. “You can come and pick this up and within minutes be able to master the tag-track-exact technology that allows you to get on target.”

The Holy Grail – A Triple-Barrelled Shotgun

THE HOLY GRAIL: A unique triple-barrelled shotgun made for a Scots aristocrat has been sold at auction for £43,000 (then $66,000). The shotgun – dubbed the “Holy Grail” – was made in April 1891 for John Adrian Louis Hope, 1st Marquess of Linlithgow and the seventh Earl of Hopetoun. The three-barrelled ejector, 16-bore gun, with three triggers, was designed by renowned Edinburgh gun makers John Dickson & Son and is the only one of its kind. Its origins were identified after the gun was taken to a valuing event at Hopetoun House, South Queensferry, and it has now been sold at Holt’s auction in London, to a private collector, after fierce bidding from around the world.

At $820,000 This is the World’s Most Expensive Rifle

If you are on the hunt for an exclusive handmade hunting rifle, you seriously need to check out the creation from the Swedish gun and rifle maker VO Vapen. The VO rifles are all handmade by Mr. Master Gunsmith Viggo Olsson and his son Gunsmith Ulf Olsso using a patented takedown system, which allows the person to use several different calibers to the same rifle. The house also has the honor of being the makers of the VO Falcon Edition, the world’s most expensive rifle that costs about $820,000. The rifle, featuring engravings of Peregrine and Saker falcons, honors the falconry traditions in the Arabian world.

The octagon barrels of the VO Falcon Edition rifle are made of Damascus steel, which complements perfectly the stock done in the world’s finest walnut root. The production of VO Falcon Edition modes is limited to five units, with each marked with beautiful embellishments. They have completed the first one, with four to follow. The Falcon is the first VO takedown rifle that has been made with a full stock.

VO Vapen makes rifles in a limited run every year, and they deliver Limited Editions, Exclusive Collections and Tailor Made Rifles to royalties and celebrities all over the world.
