Tom Jones to Release 1st U.S. Album in 15 years

In honor of his first U.S. album in 15 years, the entertainment for this weekend is Tom Jones performing “Black Betty”.

After 15 years without a new album in the U.S., Tom Jones will release a disc of almost entirely original material this fall.

The 68-year-old singer will release “24 Hours” on Nov. 25 on S-Curve Records. It’s a retro-tinged album much in the style of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” that finds the Welshman’s voice as strong as ever.

The German David Hasselhoff, Barack Obama Connection

What do Germans love? You guessed it; David Hasselhoff and Barack Obama. On that note, here is this weekend’s entertainment; David Hasselhoff performing “Hooked on a Feeling”. This should be Barack Obama’s theme song. I can see him walking up to the podium at the Democrat convention with this song playing in the background as all the Democrats dance and cheer.

“It was kind of surprising; they really love Obama in Germany. He’s like a rock star over there. It’s impressive until you realize that David Hasselhoff is also like a rock star over there.” — Jimmy Kimmel

Don Rickles Roasting Ronald Reagan

In my opinion, Don Rickles is one of the funniest comedians ever. This video, from a Dean Martin Roast back around 1970, reminded me of one of Ronald Reagan’s greatest strengths: his ability to laugh at himself. That is something lacking in our present day politicians. Just look at the reaction to the B. Hussein Obama New Yorker cover by the left and various politicians.

5 Year Old Blind Pianist – Yoo Ye Eun

Although she is only 5 years old, blind and adopted, Yoo Ye Eun has an amazing talent. She has the ability to play a song after listening to it just once!

Yoo Ye Eun should be an inspiration to all of us.

This second video is a heart-wrenching performance from Star King episode 8 dated March 03, 2007.
