Random Riddle: A Swing of the Bat

The husband had grabbed a faulty electrical appliance and was being electrocuted. Unable to touch him or the appliance without getting electrocuted herself, Susan got a baseball bat and hit her husband’s arms, freeing them. She unfortunately broke them in the process, but saved her husband’s life.

The dinner guests were “in horror” because of the electrocution, not the swinging of the bat.
