This Will End When We've Had Enough

Two months ago: “Two weeks to stop the spread.”

A month and a half ago: “Two more weeks to stop the spread.”

A month ago: “30 days to stop the spread. And I am ordering you to stay in your homes. Providing for your family is now non-essential.”

Three weeks ago: “We are months away from reopening. No, this isn’t affecting me economically in the slightest. Why do you ask, and why are you wearing a funny yellow plastic hat?”

Two weeks ago: “We’re releasing murderers, rapists, child molesters, muggers, and drug dealers from prison, to protect them from the Coronavirus. Anyone caught not complying with the lock-down will be thrown in prison for endangering the public.”

One week ago: “These new rules are for your own good. Anyone who is caught protesting these restrictions will be arrested, and lock-downs will be extended.”

Now: “It may be years before life can resume, and once it does, the world will never be the same again. Hand-shaking, hugging, and social gatherings are now a thing of the past. Social distancing is the new normal. You peasants are just going to have to get used to it.”

This will end when we’ve had enough of this nonsense. Waiting around for some Governor or Mayor or some member of the Elite Class with medical credentials to give the all clear is futile, because that is never, ever going to happen. Doctors Fauci and Birx will never give the all-clear. They’ve made it clear that lock-down, quarantine, and “social distancing” (I DESPISE that insidious Orwellian oxymoron) will be our lot in life until there is zero risk. There will never be a day when there is zero risk. We’ve left it up to them to decide when this ends. And they’ve told us; this is our life now, and we can adapt to it, or not. And that is unacceptable.

This will end when we’ve had enough, and not a moment before.
