Reagan and Obama: Dealing With Hecklers

They didn’t call him “The Great Communicator” for nothing. These two videos show the difference in the way Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan deal with hecklers.

Compare Obama’s “Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on everybody.” to Reagan’s “Awwww Shut Up!”

Ronald Reagan displayed total confidence and Obama acted more like a flustered professor.

  1. That nasty Ronnie RayGunz, ooooohhhh, me makes me want to stamp my feet and glare harshly! O-beyme is subtle, nuanced. He understands that people must emote, express themselves, even if it is stuff that they should be thrown in jail for saying like these so-called “black” people. How dare RayGun tell someone to “shut up!” Ooooohhh, he makes me sooooo mad!

  2. Reagan’s response is so much more real and human. Obama’s response is just forced and artificial. No wonder Reagan was known as the Great Communicator. He definitely was that, as well as being a great man.
