Cop Lip-Syncs To Taylor Swift

Cop Lip-Syncs To Taylor Swift

In case you haven’t seen it yet… put this on you list of videos to watch today.

Enjoy!

“While reviewing dashcam footage,” ominously begins the Dover Police Department’s Facebook post, “we come across some interesting sights to say the least.

We hope you enjoy this…and Taylor Swift, if you’re watching…we’re sorry.” What follows is what it dubs a “Dashcam Confessional” in the form of 48-year-old Master Cpl. Jeff Davis lip-syncing rather enthusiastically to Swift’s “Shake It Off”— which might seem like an unlikely choice for a gruff-looking cop, but the dad of four says he’s more than passingly familiar with Swift thanks to his 10 year-old daughter, reports the AP. And for the record, “Yes, I did know that the camera was on,” he tells Fox News, via E! Online.

Davis says there was serious intent behind the far-from-serious video: “With all of the negative publicity the police have been getting nationwide and worldwide, I think it was a good thing to show a little, the lighter side of the police,” he says.

Slap Her

In this heartwarming video, a group of young boys show men how to act. The group of Italian boys ages 6 to 11 are introduced to a young girl on the street. The boys are asked by the cameraman to caress her, compliment her, make her laugh, and finally, to slap her.

Their reactions are priceless, and their decision is unanimous. No way are they hitting a girl.

An Italian magazine’s anti-violence message – a powerful video in which young boys resist when told to slap a girl – has gone viral on social media.

Entitled “Slap Her” in English translations (“Dalle Uno Schiaffo,” “From A Slap”), the three-minute video was produced by Italian magazine Fanpage.

In the video, five different boys, ranging in age from seven to eleven, make small talk with an off-camera interviewer, identified by SBS News as Luca Iavarone. The boys entertain questions like “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Then, a girl is introduced: Martina, who looks to be slightly older than the boys. You can see immediately that the awkwardness between pre-adolescent boys and girls transcends cultures, as some of the boys giggle, some shy away (apparently “Cooties” exist in Italy, too), and one blurts out “I’d like to be your boyfriend.”

But the awkwardness and fun comes to an end when the interviewer abruptly tells them, “Now slap her. Hard.”

In an encouraging and uplifting turn of events, none of the boys hit the girl. The boys provide a variety of reasons, all of them touching.

Derek Muller Math Riddle: Can You Solve This?

Derek Muller Math Riddle

Scientific filmmaker Derek Muller asks a series of people if they can solve a simple math riddle. While the pattern is simple, multiple people struggle to produce the correct answer.

“I’m going to give you guys three numbers, a three number sequence,” Muller explains at the start of the video, which has just over 750,000 views on YouTube. “And I have a rule in mind that these numbers obey. And I want you to try to figure out what that rule is.”

Derek Muller Math Riddle: Can You Solve This?
