Optical Illusion Dance
|
[arve url=”https://youtu.be/_jRiV7pJO1E” /] When these seven young women shuffled onto the stage, we had no idea what to expect. Dressed in an odd half-white and half-black outfit, each of these women’s outfits seems meant to confuse the eye. This optical illusion dance runs through the gambit of all sorts of popular songs. From MC Hammer’s “Can’t touch this” to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” these young ladies really know how to entertain a crowd. While it may appear simple at first, the actual amount of time and effort that went into this little dance shouldn’t be taken lightly. Every single step and movement they take is so in-synch that the amount of work they put into this piece really comes through! It’s really weird how the simple act of changing the colors of your clothes can really have a profound effect on how you actually view a human body. Even after being fully aware that there’s an illusion going on here; our eyes want to force our brains to think we’re seeing an all white suit or an all black suit. Just like the women who formed a “thousand-armed dancer,” the human body is capable of some pretty amazing things when you put your mind to it! |
Good Times – James Evans Sr. Hands Out Some Discipline & Guidance
Could this be shown on TV today? The “Lunch Money Rip-Off” episode on “Good Times” was one of the most memorable episodes ever. After Micheal Evans was picked on by the school bully, he decides to take a different approach and invite him over for the weekend. The bully, named Eddie, spends a weekend with the Evans family only to learn a lesson of respect and love. The lesson came in the form of a spanking or like Old Schoolers say, an “Ass Whoopin!”

The Genius Of Leonardo da Vinci
| [arve url=”https://youtu.be/KJboCFa4iVQ” /]
Artist Leonardo da Vinci produced two of the most famous paintings in history, “The Last Supper” and the “Mona Lisa.” But he was also passionate about medical discoveries and military inventions, some of which were centuries ahead of their time. Walter Isaacson, author of bestselling biographies of Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, has written a new book about da Vinci, and he talks with Dr. Jon LaPook about why this Renaissance Man’s mind and curiosity were so extraordinary.
