Thaddeus McCotter is quickly becoming my favorite Congressman. When he discovered that leading Democrats wanted to regulate members of Congress output to YouTube and the blogs, McCotter decided to make another video fashioned after Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues”.
History has proven that Democrats are for free speech…as long as it’s their own. To differ from their opinions is not free speech, but sacrilege!
In their latest assault on free speech, the Democrats have forgotten or ignored Thomas Jefferson’s spirited defense of humanity’s God-given freedom of conscience: “I have sworn upon the altar of almighty God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” ~ Mich. This is pretty funny and it’s always funnier when there’s an element of truth in the humor and there’s more than an element of truth here. In fact, he pretty much nails it.
Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI-11), House Republican Policy Chairman, recently took to the House floor to translate Democrat speech for the rest of America in a speech entitled “Speaking Democrat: A Primer.”
