Secret Price Codes

Secret Price Codes

A cheat sheet for saving even more money at major retailers–by knowing their secret price codes.

Several popular retailers use “secret” price codes that can clue you in on whether an item is the best deal at the store or not. Here’s a handy chart you can use while shopping to decode those numbers.

Here are the pricing structures for Costco, Target, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, Home Depot, Gap/Old Navy, Sears, and Office Depot. Look for the price on the tag and if it ends in one of these numbers or letters/symbols, you’ll know if you’re getting a really good deal or just the regular price. (Marked down just means it’s on sale, Final Markdown is the lowest price the store will drop it to, Clearance/Discontinued means the store isn’t gong to restock it.)

If you only remember one thing, though, just look for the price ending in any number other than 9 or 99, and you’ll know you’re getting less than full retail price.

The New ‘Intelligent’ Rifle That Claims to Give You a Perfect Shot Every Time

Fighter jet technology for your rifle? Sign me up!

A new Texas-based company is developing a shooting system that could turn even the least skilled marksmen into a sniper-quality shooter.

TrackingPoint calls its system the “world’s first precision guided firearm.”

President Jason Schauble explained in a YouTube demonstration of the technology that what the company did is “put jet fighter lock-and-launch technology into a firing system.”

The system uses a conventional gun and ammunition, but combines them with a Intelligent Digital Tracking Scope and a guided trigger. The technology doesn’t let you fire until the shot is spot on.

“You don’t have to be an experienced shooter,” Schauble said in the video. “You can come and pick this up and within minutes be able to master the tag-track-exact technology that allows you to get on target.”

Obama Sticker In Urinal Draws Criticism And Laughs

A disturbed 17 News Facebook friend posted picture taken in the bathroom of a restaurant in Bakersfield. It shows a sticker, with a picture of the President, firmly affixed to a porcelain potty.

Some think he’s a political whiz, but perhaps this isn’t what they had mind.

“It’s a cartoon. It’s a parody. It’s humor,” said customer Dave Nance.

There’s been a lot of traffic in this bathroom at the Rocket Shop Café. But not for the usual reasons. Word of the cartoon decal has brought a lot of looky loos to this loo.

“I think it’s a riot because he’s a public figure. He sets himself up for this kind of abuse from being who and what he is,” said customer Tom Moore.

John Harmon, the owner of the Rocket Shop Café says the bulls-eye designs showed up in the gentlemen’s room about a week ago.

“Why would I take them down? We get a lot of people come out of the bathroom now just laughing like crazy,” said Harmon.

But some would say this the president of the united states we’re talking about?

“It’s a cartoon character in the urinal. If we had the president in there it would be more fun. Somebody could have put a fly down in there. Same thing. It would have been a target. And actually I think the floors in there are a little cleaner than they used to be,” said Harmon.

John Harmon says he has no plans to take the decals down and he has yet to receive any complaints from his customers. We tried to contact the man who posted the picture on Facebook but he did not immediately return our calls.
