Leslie Nielsen, who traded in his dramatic persona for inspired bumbling as a hapless doctor in “Airplane!” and the accident-prone detective Frank Drebin in “The Naked Gun” comedies, died on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was 84.

This weekend’s entertainment: From “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” (1988); Lt Frank Drebin Wins the War on Terror defeating the Iranian Ayatollah Khameni, Palestinian Yasir Arafat, Libyan Colonel Khadafi, Soviet Premier Gorbachev and Ugandan Idi Amin.

Interesting tidbit, three of the above men (Arafat, Amin, Khomeni) are dead today, one is deposed from power (Gorbachev) and Khadafi made a settlement with America. Go Frank!
