Al-Qaeda Leader Admits To Being Aligned With The United States

The leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in Yemen, Qasim al-Rimi, has admitted his fighters have fought alongside Yemeni government forces currently backed by the U.S. and the Saudi-led coalition.

As reported by the Washington Post, Washington regards AQAP as the deadliest branch of al-Qaeda. Al-Rimi is frequently the target of U.S. airstrikes, and there is an enormous monetary bounty for his capture.

We fight along with all Muslims in Yemen, together with different Islamic groups,” he said on Sunday to AQAP’s media arm, al-Malahem, from an undisclosed location in Yemen. Al-Rimi also added that his followers have teamed up with an array of factions — including the ultraconservative Salafis, “the Muslim Brotherhood and also our brothers among the sons of (Sunni) tribes” against Yemen’s Shiite rebels, known as Houthis.

According to the Washington Post:

“Al-Rimi did not elaborate on what exactly fighting ‘alongside’ meant but al-Qaeda has emerged as a de facto ally of the government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his backers Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates against the Houthis in a grueling civil war that has wreaked devastation, caused widespread hunger and killed more than 10,000 since late 2014.

Admissions like these raise serious doubts about the sincerity of Washington’s prosecution of the war on terror, which was initially targeted at al-Qaeda, the terror group deemed responsible for the September 11 attacks on American soil.

However, for those who have been paying attention to the conflict in Yemen over the past few years, it hardly comes as any surprise; the Saudi-led coalition has inflicted widespread suffering on Yemen — committing an extensive list of war crimes in the process — with the aim of defeating al-Qaeda’s sworn enemy. Saudi Arabia has paid little regard to the fact that AQAP and ISIS are sitting directly on its border.

Further, even though Washington regards AQAP as the deadliest branch of al-Qaeda, Washington’s air strikes have killed far more civilians than AQAP has. (Washington is deadlier than the most murderous branch of al-Qaeda).

This pattern of fighting alongside al-Qaeda when it suits America’s warped foreign policy interests has permeated a number of conflicts throughout the region. In Libya, the U.S. knew full well they were providing air cover for al-Qaeda-linked rebels in 2011. Hillary Clinton’s leaked emails are a testament to this fact. In Syria, al-Qaeda (no matter how many times it is rebranded) is one of the most prominent rebel groups in the country, receiving all manner of support from the U.S. and its allies in order to topple Syria’s secular government.

For some, the news that an al-Qaeda leader went on record to say he has fought alongside the U.S. will be an incredible shock. For anyone else paying attention to Obama’s eight years of world wide destruction… we knew it all along.

Bill Introduced In Congress To Pre-Emptively Attack Iran

Rep. Alcee Hastings (Democrat-FL) recently introduced a bill that would enable to US to invade Iran for the stated purpose of preventing it from obtaining nuclear weapons.

Bill Introduced In Congress To Pre-Emptively Attack Iran

Earlier last month, Congressman Alcee Hastings (Democrat-FL) introduced H.J.Res. 10 or the “Authorization of Use of Force Against Iran Resolution.” Taken at face value, the bill appears to allow the President to authorize military force against Iran. Yet, the text of the bill goes further – it authorizes the president to launch a “pre-emptive” war with the Middle Eastern nation without requiring Congressional approval and without the necessity of Iran having actually committed any action that would warrant a full-scale invasion. Specifically, the text of the bill states that: “The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as the President determines necessary and appropriate in order to achieve the goal of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.”

H.J.Res. 10 is a joint resolution in the United States Congress.

A joint resolution is often used in the same manner as a bill. If passed by both the House and Senate in identical form and signed by the President, it becomes a law. Joint resolutions are also used to propose amendments to the Constitution.

Ban Of Muslims And Others Already U.S. Law: 8 U.S. Code 1182

Ban Of Muslims And Others Already U.S. Law: 8 U.S. Code 1182

Here is number 8 U.S. Code 1182, inadmissible aliens. This law was written in 1952. It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.

“Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Over here, everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land. And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a ton of ’em.

There is precedent for everything Donald Trump has said he wants to do. And if you listen to the wizards of smart in this country and our political establishment, you will think that this stuff is just unheard of, it’s almost unspeakable, it’s just indecent. Here we have in the establishment the reputed best and brightest, the smartest. We’re not even qualified to be in their company no less. And they’re dunces on this.

In November the 1979 United States attorney general had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979.

This law was passed in 1952. Do you know what was going on in 1952, among other things? There was no immigration in 1952. It was shut down. Immigration was shut down 1924 to 1965. And why did we have this? What was the need for this in 1952? Oh, yeah, we had rampant illegal immigration. I’m talking about we suspended legal immigration from 1924 to 1965, but we were being overrun in 1952 like we always are. We’re the last great hope of the world. That law was written to allow the president to keep undesirables out and to kick undesirables out. There’s no mystery.

All of these statements that Jimmy Carter made were made in public, and the announcements that he made that he was gonna send Iranians home, Iranian students home, that they had to report to immigration, they had to confirm they were here legally, those who weren’t were sent back. They put a moratorium on all Iranians being allowed in the country back in 1979.

Carter did that publicly. He announced it in public, and he announced it proudly. . . .

So here again, number 8 United States Code 1182, inadmissible aliens. “Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may, by proclamation,” meaning he doesn’t have to go back and get a new vote. This law empowers him to stand up and do what Jimmy Carter did. “He may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary –” until next week, until next year, until whenever he wants “– suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.
