Inside Trump Tower Live Stream

C-SPAN is live-streaming Trump Tower’s golden elevators and it is oddly riveting.

C-SPAN’s website is currently streaming a live feed of the lobby of Manhattan’s Trump Tower. According to C-SPAN, the feed has been live since 8AM EST.

A representative from C-SPAN that we spoke to, as well as the C-SPAN website, indicated that the feed was being hosted by the Trump Organization. “I’m not sure why this is happening,” said the representative.

Update: C-SPAN’s Director of Communications Howard Mortman said the purpose of the stream is “to let our audience see who is coming and going to meet with the Trump transition team, and watch them speak to the media located in the lobby.” He further clarified that the feed is hosted by a television network pool that monitors the feed for newsworthy material, adding that the C-SPAN website improperly indicates the feed’s location (Trump Tower) as its “Hosting Organization.”

C-SPAN usually broadcasts from inside political buildings and from political events.

At the time of publication, members of the press are waiting in the lobby to catch glimpses of people taking meetings with President-elect Donald Trump, who seems to be upstairs.

In the last hour, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani (who is rumored to be a frontrunner for the position of Secretary of State despite numerous conflicts of interest) has walked past the press without answering questions, and Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has come over to show them a photo on her phone of South Carolina governor Nikki Haley meeting with the president-elect. Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. also appeared briefly, but did not speak.

Most of the stream is of Trump Tower’s gold lobby and a very bored doorman. At one point there was a pretty good dog in the lobby. Someone delivered two pizzas, and shortly after that, someone else delivered a pizza and what looked like a pile of sandwiches. Lots of people are drinking things out of Starbucks’ holiday cups.

When reached for comment, the Trump Organization forwarded our call to the voicemail box of Hope Hicks. We will update if and when we hear back.

Trump To Institute A FIVE YEAR Lobbying Ban On Members Of His Administration

Donald Trump is requiring anyone joining his administration to sign a form preventing him/her from being a lobbyist for FIVE YEARS after leaving!

This is the first shot in the war on Washington corruption. Wouldn’t you love to have a camera when Trump’s “Landing Teams” go to the various federal agencies, most importantly, the IRS, to clear out the cockroaches?

Donald Trump’s staff has announced a tough new anti-lobbying for all members of his transition team and all other officials who work for the President-elect.

People who work with Trump must sever all their ties to the lobbying industry, and they are not allowed to lobby on behalf of anyone for five years after they leave the Donald’s side.

The ban also applies to the transition team members charged with helping to find, vet and hire for the incoming Republican administration, Trump spokesman Sean Spicer said late Wednesday in New York.

Additionally, neither the transition advisers nor incoming officials are permitted to be registered federal or state lobbyists, Spicer said. He described the measures as helping to ensure people won’t be able to use government service ‘to enrich themselves.’

The Trump team did not explain how the ban would be enforced.

Trump also wants to ‘expand the definition of lobbyist so we close all the loopholes that former government officials use by labeling themselves consultants and advisers when we all know they are lobbyists.’

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Career Corrupt Politician) did not answer questions about the lobbying ban on Wednesday.

When he was asked by reporters, McConnell instead said he hopes legislators ‘address the real concerns of the American people’ rather than fixate on every utterance during the presidential contest.

However, the plan has been met with some criticism, with experts saying it will seriously impact Trump’s ability to get a capable team in place.

‘This will have a chilling effect on his hiring, no doubt,’ Paul Miller, who leads the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics, said.

‘Most people who agree to government service want to go back into the private sector. We don’t want career politicians, and that’s what he could end up with.’

It is unclear how many of the thousands of people Trump is about to hire would be subject to his ban.

His proposal allegedly covers, ‘all executive-branch officials,’ but in practice he may be referring only to Cabinet members and high-level White House officials.

Donald Trump is not even in office yet and he is ALREADY having a POSITIVE effect on our economy.

When the markets see Socialism in decline and Capitalism again ascendant, this is what happens. It’s not rocket science… merely economics.

The dollar hit a 14-year high against a basket of currencies on Wednesday as a post-U.S. election sell-off resumed across global bond markets, lifting Treasury yields and attracting investors to the U.S. currency.

That halted stocks in their tracks, with Europe’s main indices down as much as 0.8 percent and Wall Street expected to open 0.5 percent lower.

The Bank for International Settlements this week repeated its view that a stronger dollar poses risks for global markets and financial stability. Investors have largely shrugged off these warnings but stocks felt the heat of the dollar’s latest rise on Wednesday.

“I agree with the consensus interpretation of the key macro trades – higher yields and a stronger dollar – but I’m less persuaded by the expectation of higher global equities,” Stephen Jen of hedge fund Eurizon SLJ Capital said on Wednesday.

“The world’s interest rates have been dragged higher by the U.S. yield curve, creating the risk that interest rates may be too high for the still-fragile economies in Europe and emerging markets,” he said.

U.S. President-elect Trump’s plans to cut taxes and boost infrastructure spending would boost economic activity while his proposals to deport illegal immigrants and impose tariffs on cheap imports are seen driving inflation higher.

That prospect has given rise to expectations that U.S. interest rates will rise faster than previously anticipated, boosting the dollar.

The dollar index, a measure of its value against a basket of currencies, rose to 100.53 on Wednesday , its highest since April 2003.

The dollar rose 0.5 percent against the yen to a five-month high of 109.75 yen <JPY=>, rose to an eight-year high against the Chinese yuan of 6.8703 yuan <CNY=CFXS> and the euro fell below $1.07 for the first time in a year <EUR=>.

“The narrative on the dollar is strong,” said Simon Smith, chief economist at FXPro.

“A move higher in interest rates next month is now a near dead cert, with the implied path for rates next year also moving higher and providing further support for the dollar.”

Mike Pence Removes ALL Lobbyists From Trump Administration Transition Team!

Operation Drain the Swamp has begun. Apparently removing lobbyists is what NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and PBS are calling “Trump Team Turmoil“?

How obvious can it get.

The US Mainstream Media is one big house of prostitution.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence reportedly ordered the removal of all lobbyists from president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, The Wall Street Journal wrote on Tuesday night.

The decision was one of Pence’s first since formally taking over the team’s lead role. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was abruptly dismissed from the post last week.

Critics have excoriated Trump for including lobbyists, Washington insiders, and Republican Party veterans among his team, suggesting it contradicts the anti-establishment message that defined his campaign.

“[Americans] do not want corporate executives to be the ones who are calling the shots in Washington,” Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said earlier Tuesday. “What Donald Trump is doing is that he’s putting together a transition team that’s full of lobbyists — the kind of people he actually ran against,” she said.

The move capped a chaotic day for Trump’s transition team. Former Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers, who handled national-security duties, was ousted, as was senior defense and foreign policy official Matthew Freedman.

Rogers was told that all team members picked by Christie were being ousted, The Journal reported, citing a source familiar with the situation. Rogers indicated the team may be in disarray.

“Is there a little confusion in New York? I think there is. I think this is growing pains,” he told CNN’s Jim Sciutto. Sources cited by CNN in that story suggested infighting among Trump’s close advisers. Another unnamed CNN source denied the claim.

Trump attempted to dispel talk of turmoil in a tweet late Tuesday: “Very organized process taking place as I decide on Cabinet and many other positions. I am the only one who knows who the finalists are!,” the tweet read.

Trump’s team is tasked with finding and hiring 4,000 political appointees to fill out the federal government.
