Watch as an 11-year-old Trump supporter schools a CNN host.

“I really think that listening to a few bad words coming out of Donald Trump is a lot better than people getting blown up by terrorists, people getting burned alive, people getting their heads chopped off, and people getting drowned.” ~ Matthew Schricker

CNN likely had an 11-year-old Donald Trump supporter on this morning to get him to turn on his candidate.

Instead, he provided some perspective many adults don’t have.

Matthew Schricker appeared on the news channel on Friday and was asked about the impact Trump’s language has on him.

“A lot has been made in this campaign of the language that is used, the name-calling that’s been used, especially in the primary,” the host said.

“As an 11-year-old watching it, what’s your reaction?”

“I really think that listening to a few bad words coming out of Donald Trump is a lot better than people getting blown up by terrorists, people getting burned alive, people’s heads being chopped off and people getting drowned,” Schricker responded.

Seeming to not be content with the boy’s sensible answer, the host turned to his mother.

“Does the rhetoric on both sides of this campaign bother you?” she was asked.

“Certainly as a mother, you don’t like to hear some of these comments so, somewhat bombastic and inflammatory,” Mary Schricker said, “however, I think the tenor of the world right now allows for those kinds of feelings to be aired.

“Honestly, when it comes to confronting a terrorist, I would rather have Trump confronting him than –” Schricker said, before Matthew jumped in and finished, “than Hillary Clinton.”

Fiorina Made Fun of Boxer's Looks

In 2010, Fiorina was caught on an open mic commenting on Barbara Boxer’s hair as she was prepping for an interview with CNN. Fiorina told her staff that someone saw Boxer on television and “said what everyone says, ‘God what is that hair?’ So yesterday!”

Whoops!

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, under fire for comments about rival Carly Fiorina’s appearance, said there is a double standard when it comes to people criticizing others.

Trump has long noted he has been made fun of because his hair, but during an appearance Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” he pointed to a story from 2010 when Fiorina made fun of the hairdo of California Sen. Barbara Boxer when she ran unsuccessfully to unseat her.

Fiorina can be seen in a video feed while preparing for an interview with CNN in which she said someone “saw Barbara Boxer briefly on television this morning and said what everyone says, ‘God, what is that hair? So yesterday.'”

Fiorina laughs, then suddenly realizes she is on camera and wearing a microphone, and she stops.

Trump told Hannity not only is there a double standard between men and women, but said it also is “being politically correct.”

“Last night I was very nice to her and some people thought I was being sarcastic,” Trump said. “But actually if you look back at the records on Carly, she was brutal on Barbara Boxer. She was very nasty.”

Cal State LA political science professor Dr. Raphael Sonenshein told CBSLA.com there is a difference between a man criticizing a woman’s looks and one woman criticizing another woman.

“In a slight way, in a weird way of gender dynamics, her making fun of her female opponent was not good,” Soneshein said. “But it’s a little bit different, when a bombastic guy like Donald Trump does it. It really had a whole extra dimension.”

Loyal Dog Ciccio

Talk about a loyal dog! This is a sad, but uplifting story of devotion.

Ciccio, a German shepherd, whose owner passed away last year, visits the church every day where her funeral was held patiently waiting for her to return.

Ciccio belonged to Maria Margherita Lochi and had been her faithful companion after she adopted him when she found him abandoned in fields close to her home. Maria would walk to church with Ciccio from her home every day where the priest would allow him to sit patiently by her feet.

Ciccio’s devotion has so impressed villagers that they have adopted him as their own, giving him food and water and letting him sleep in a covered area outside the church.
