These lip makeups are a Halloween costume on their own.

Your lips will slay them, armed with these designs from Spanish makeup artist and photographer Eva Senín Pernas. Are you sans costume but feel like hitting that party in a last-minute change of heart? Are the kids refusing to decide on costumes within your budget until T minus Too Late? Throw on an all-black outfit and paint the lips all spooky like. Then give anyone who is underwhelmed by the lack of costume the kiss of death.

Eva Senín Pernas trained in architecture before switching to makeup and photography, so she’s a triple threat, of sorts. Visit her website, Deviant Art site and Facebook page to see more of her work.

The Myth of Talent is a great video by Robin Griggs Wood. She made it as her intro video for Arcanum.

Her message is a truly inspiring life lesson!

Did you believe it when they told you you had no talent; that being an artist was only for the “gifted”? Did you know they lied to you? Find out about the “Myth of Talent” in this Arcanum introduction to Robin Griggs Wood.

Moses Supposes is one of the most inspiring and classic tap dance routines of all time. It is danced by Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor in the movie Singin’ in the Rain.

Brighten your day with this Anime tribute to Gene Kelly.

Not exactly the mash-up you’d expect, perhaps – but speaking as a long-time cinephile who has also been an advocate for anime for many years, I have to say it warms my heart.

A ghost princess comes upon Gene Kelly’s possessed dancing shoes, and the two get together for a little dance routine. It’s adorable, and if you’re into film history and the concept of geeks from vastly different generations recognizing each other, life-affirming.

That probably makes this sound overly important – but if the Doctor could bring fans together across time periods, I’d like to imagine he’d get them to make this.
